super short hair and veil?
Ok, I'm getting married next year so this isn't urgent but I've been thinking about it. I have very short hair, like pixie cut, guy length kinda short. And I don't intend to grow it out, it pisses me off when its long. I'm a wash and go kind of person. Whenever I look up short hair wedding style ideas they always talk about either shoulder length hair (which isn't short by the way) or growing your hair out for "the big day". I want to wear a birdcage/blusher veil, but I'm not sure how this would look with very short hair. I know I could attach it to a head band, and there wouldn't be a problem with it staying on or anything, I'm just concerned about aesthetics. Has anyone seen a bride with short hair and a birdcage veil? What were your impressions? thanks
I made my birdcage veil, but I have medium/long hair that will be half up and half down. But you can definately so something fancier without have to grow lots of hair! A good hair stylist can make sure it is very securly attached. A good tip I learned when making mine was to use weave clips rather than regular clips or bobby pins. They stay very securely and flush to your head.
