Fairy Tale themed bridal shower?
My sister is getting married in October and I am working on throwing her a bridal shower. While it is still a few months away I have started planing and trying to get some things planed out ahead of time. She has drooped the hints that she would like a fairy tale themed bridal shower, so i figured I would do what she asked for. I have come up with some ideas for the prize baskets, but I am not really sure how to work the whole theme in over the party...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I would focus on a specific fairy tale like Alice in Wonderland-give her a Mad Hatter style tea party complete with one of those topsy-turvy types of cakes. If Cinderella is more her thing then tiaras and glass slippers, Ariel from the little mermaid-seashells and serve seafood, Snow White-candied apples and a miror that says "Fairest in the Land" on the back of it for the bride.
Be creative, find out what her favorite storys are (you probably remember from when she was a kid).
