Wedding dress gown garment bag storing?
Hi!
I am getting married May 1, 2010! I have bought my wedding dress but it came in a plastic garment bag. I have heard that that is a bad thing to store you gown in for a long period of time. What kind of bag should I buy? I have heard of acid free garment bags? breathable garment bags?
Any that I haven't named that I should use or a recommendation of one above?
After I wore my dress I went back to the place I got it and they had it cleaned and put it in a breathable bag. they said it was the best thing to do.(not seal it up like people sometimes do.) But even with that some of the beads have discolored. Instead of silvery-white they look more black. That is a long time to hang on to a dress. I would ask the place that you bought it if they can make a recommendation.
