Though engraved shot glasses are dishwasher safe, repeated cleaning of these glasses in an automatic dishwasher will eventually wear off the personalization and engraving. This is because of the use of very hot water and harsh detergents used in many automatic dishwashers. Because of the size of shot glasses, which are normally small, hand wash under cold running water is recommended. This will ensure that the decoration on your shot glasses will last for many years.
