Ideas for a zombie prom queen costume?
I am going to be a zombie prom queen for halloween. I am looking for ideas for my costume - i already have a black dress, how do i get it to look distressed and worn, etc?

yes! i can ruin the dress, i only paid $15 for it at a consignment shop....
rub some areas with sand paper to wear it thin.
wear glue on fingernails, painted black...this is morbid, but your nails keep growing after you die, so, yeah, long nails.
wear really pale base makeup, a shade lighter than your natural skin color, then rub a dark color under your eyes and paint your lips red.
dark eyeliner is good, fake lashes are always a good choice too.
wear a tiara, slightly off kilter. make sure your hair is disheveled, but looks like it WAS at one time all promish...
have fun!
oh, and carry a bouquet of dead roses (get some roses now, hang them upside down to dry out, spray them with hairspray to keep them from falling apart).
