Compare and contrast any two love poems (It may not always be so -- E E cummings & let me not the to marriage of true minds -- Shakespeare) in order to show how the presentation of love is influenced by the historical and cultural context in which it was written.
Could you please help me understand the question, i don't really understand what i should even write about! And could you help with an essay plan. Any additional details would be excellent too.

compare and contrast means to find the similar and the difference of the two poems. eg the historical time of the social ecceptance of showing love. The use of language social ettiquite allowed. A male love poem compared and contrasted to a female writting a poem. Maybe a poem of telling of love to a poem of losing love.
Essay has an Intro that states what the subject is about and the direction you are going to take, make a statement of agreement, disagreement, social influence etc. Then the body where you pick different topic (only one per paragraph) and find difference and similarities.
Conclusion is your restatement of the intro and a few lines to state this.
